2025 impact report: Full Circle basketball tx

DISCIPLINE. CONFIDENCE. MINDSET.

Basketball is just the beginning. At Full Circle Basketball TX, we use the game to develop confident, well-rounded youth through training, competition, and community connection. This Impact Report shares how we’re growing our nonprofit mission and building a stronger future for young athletes across DFW.

Full Circle Basketball TX is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Fort Worth, Texas. We use basketball as a tool to teach discipline, teamwork, and leadership while creating access to wellness, creative, and educational experiences that go beyond the court. Our goal is to help young people discover their potential, develop their character, and explore a full circle of possibilities, both within and beyond basketball.

Building a Full Circle of Opportunities

our mission and vision

Every program we create, from training sessions to community workshops, helps our athletes grow as whole individuals. We aim to connect them with experiences that expand their perspectives, nurture their interests, and prepare them to thrive in whichever path they choose, whether that’s sports, art, leadership, entrepreneurship, or service.

our growth story

Since our launch in March 2025 with five girls, Full Circle Basketball TX has expanded to include boys’ and girls’ teams and a training-only track for grades four through eight. By fall 2025 we added a boys team and partnered with a local boys program, bringing additional players under the Full Circle umbrella for expanded competition and shared development opportunities. Month by month, our circle has grown into a family of athletes, coaches, and parents who believe in our mission.

Altogether, our current reach includes 8 girls, 7 boys, 4 youth in training, and new athletes through partner teams, a collective roster of roughly 25–30 participants across program levels. Our long-term goal is to continue partnering with local teams to expand competition and increase access for youth throughout DFW.

This year, our athletes have already experienced unforgettable moments such as greeting WNBA players at halftime, attending an NBA pregame warm-up from courtside seats, and representing our program at the YMCA Kids Health Day community event. These experiences show our players that basketball can open doors far beyond the gym.

We also participated in the YMCA’s annual Trunk or Treat event, joining local families, vendors, and organizations in a night of fun community connections. Each milestone reminds us that growth is about impact such as helping athletes see their potential, build resilience, and learn to handle hard emotions in a supportive environment. The discipline and confidence they practice on the court become tools they carry into every part of life.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, every donation directly supports youth development through basketball and beyond. Before receiving our nonprofit designation, Full Circle Basketball TX operated independently through family contributions, parent fees, and community support. These early investments from our families helped us build our foundation, sustain programming, and prove the need for greater access and funding.

Now, with nonprofit status, we’re ready to expand our reach and create even more opportunities for youth across the DFW area. Here’s how your support continues that impact:
